자연을 배우고, 느끼고 그리하여 그것과 같이되는 방법을 고민해본다. 기존지형을 고스란히 연장시켜 기능을 삽입하고 집합체가 된 덩어리는 다시 ‘채나눔’으로 사이 공간을 내포하게 된다. 채와 채의 사이공간에는 자연의 모든 것들이 고스란히 담겨져 있어 이를 누리는 사람들의 심신에 지리산의 건강한 기운과 대자연의 교훈을 선사할 것이다. 지리산의 자연을 소중히 생각하는 지역민들과 이용자들에 대한 배려와 세심한 관찰력으로 건축은 단지 자연에 스며드는 자세로 그 존재를 나타낼 뿐이다. 자연을 닮아 가는 사람들의 이야기가 펼쳐지고 소중한 장소로 가꾸어져갈 이곳에서…우리는 “자연에 동화”된다.
The story of human is spread to the nature, to make precious place, in here, we called “Fairy tale of the Nature”. Learning of the Jiri-mountan National park, Feeling of the nature becamethe One. Because the site is using camping area already, the site plan strategiesare to use the least area not to interrupt other natural area. The most important concept is Jiri-mountain’s grateful shape reaches to the building as a “The healing”. The contour of the Jiri-mountain (East side) spread to the front (West side) make building divided 2 masses and then 3 masses as flow natural shapes.
This mass-dividing is called “Chae-nanum” which is Asian traditional method of wall dividing, between the spaces of “Chae” and “Chae” contain all sort of natural’s feeling. The building itself exist with nature lesson for user and communities. Main direction of the masses toward to the south for talking sunshine and environmental energy. Living area located end of north area independently, which is for “the healing”.
